Celebrating Specialist Contractors at the CN Specialists Awards 2026

Tank Consult's CN Awards 2026 Finalist's badge

Tonight, Tank Consult is proud to be attending the CN Specialists Awards 2026 — not only as finalists, but also as sponsors of this fantastic industry event.

For us, being shortlisted is a moment of real pride. It recognises the commitment, skill and teamwork that goes into delivering specialist construction projects safely, and right first time. As a specialist contractor, we know how much effort happens behind the scenes — from early planning and design coordination through to site delivery, quality control and handover.

Win or lose, tonight is about celebrating the people, businesses and projects that continue to raise standards across the specialist construction sector. Events like this shine a light on the expertise, determination and collaboration that specialist contractors bring to the wider industry every day.

We are delighted to be part of the evening, to support the awards as sponsors, and to share the occasion with our team, clients and industry partners. Reaching the finals for a second year is something we do not take for granted, and it is a reflection of the hard work and dedication shown across all our team here at Tank Consult. Lets win it for Florence!!

Good luck to all of tonight’s finalists. Whatever the outcome, it promises to be a brilliant celebration of specialist construction and the people who make this sector what it is.

Passing of our beloved “office woofer” Florence

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Florence, our office woofer, a much-loved member of the Tank Consult family.

Florence was a true character whose personality, warmth and charm brought joy to colleagues, clients and visitors alike. A cherished presence around the office, Florence was adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and was never far from the centre of attention.

Although Florence will be deeply missed, we take comfort in the many happy memories shared over the years and in imagining Florence happily surrounded by friends, old and new.

Florence will always hold a special place in the hearts of everyone at Tank Consult, and will be remembered with great affection.

Tank Consult named finalist in two categories at CN Specialists Awards 2026

At Tank Consult, we are proud to have been named a finalist in two categories at the CN Specialists Awards 2026, marking our second consecutive year of recognition at these prestigious industry awards.

We have been shortlisted for Concrete Specialist of the Year and Project of the Year (Specialist Contractor – Subcontract up to £1.5m) for our work at Lutterworth.

This recognition reflects the strength of the relationships we have built with our clients and supply chain partners. It is through this collaborative approach that we are able to apply our expertise effectively, delivering projects that meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

The Lutterworth project is a strong example of what can be achieved when clients, specialists, and delivery teams work in close alignment. With a shared commitment to getting the right outcome, the project brought together expertise from across the team, supported by open communication and a collective focus on delivering safely and right first time.

Our nomination for Concrete Specialist of the Year also recognises the consistency of this approach across our wider portfolio. Working closely with our clients and partners allows us to continuously improve, share knowledge, and ensure that every project benefits from both technical expertise and practical experience on site.

We would like to thank our clients for the trust they place in us, and our supply chain partners for their continued support, reliability, and professionalism. It is this combined effort that enables us to deliver to the standards we set ourselves and that our clients expect.

We look forward to attending the awards ceremony and celebrating alongside our industry peers. Being named finalists is something we are proud of, and a reflection of the collaborative partnerships that underpin everything we do.

Easter Giving at Tank Consult: Sharing Joy with Our Community

At Tank Consult, giving back to our community is an important part of who we are, and this Easter we were proud to donate a variety of Easter eggs and chocolate treats to the Salvation Army and Our Lady & St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. We wanted to help bring a little extra joy to children and families who may be finding times challenging, and Easter felt like the perfect opportunity to do something meaningful.

While purchasing the Easter eggs, we experienced a thoughtful gesture of support from someone in store, which allowed us to extend our donation even further. This moment reminded us how powerful kindness can be and how one generous act often inspires another.

Our hope in sharing this is not to highlight what we did, but to encourage others to consider supporting their community in whatever way feels right for them. Whether it’s donating to a local charity, helping a school, contributing to a food bank, or simply doing something kind for someone nearby, every gesture makes a difference.

Easter is a time centred around hope and generosity, and even small actions can have a big impact. If our experience inspires even one more act of kindness, then it has already made the community a brighter place.

You can find out more about the Salvation Army, or make a direct donation here.
