As a division of Tank Consult Ltd, our inspectors specialise in bolted steel and concrete tanks, providing comprehensive solutions for industries such as water treatment, renewable energy, food and beverage, anaerobic digestion, biogas, silos, and other above-ground storage uses.
Our comprehensive steel inspections include an internal examination, where we visually assess the base and tank for any signs of degradation in the joints, sheets, and bolts. Additionally, we perform low voltage swab/pinhole tests to detect defects in the enamel coating.
Regular upkeep is essential. In line with HSE document RR760 “Mechanical integrity management of bulk storage tanks,” inspection and maintenance aren’t just good practice—they’re mandatory to ensure safety and compliance.
